Suggestions Box
Below you will see a form where you can submit a suggestion to the management team.
These suggestions can be anything from ‘more staff nights out’ to ‘extra in-house training for dementia clients’.
You can complete this suggestion anonymously if you wish, or alternatively, you can leave your name and we will get back to you as soon as we can to discuss your suggestion.
Training Zone
Below there is a ‘Staff Training Zone’. This has been created to help staff when they feel they are unsure of how to handle a certain situation or for any staff member who wishes to expand their knowledge and skill.
In-person training and additional Atlas Citation training will also be available throughout the year, however, this should help with solutions to minor issues or basic knowledge about working with clients.
If anyone has any video links, online tools etc they feel other staff would benefit from being in this zone, please get in touch and we would be happy to look to see if we can add it on.

As staff may be aware, we send out newsletters to service users seasonally.
This is a good way for us to communicate with service users and ensure we keep them up-to-date with all news and information. Most of this information is passed onto staff via WhatsApp or email, however, we thought it might be nice to let you see the newsletters that get sent out as well.
Please read this letter through with service users and pass back any feedback given regarding the newsletter or what is included within it.
I have attached a digital copy of the newsletter for everyone to see.
We are delighted to be named ‘Homecare Service of the Year 2023/24 – Scotland’. This was the second year in a row we received this amazing award.
A huge thank you to each and everyone of you for working so hard day in day out with clients to help us achieve this award for the second year running.
We were also named in the ‘Top 20 Home Care Services in Scotland’ for year 2023. Again, a massive thank you to all staff for helping us work towards these amazing awards.
We need to ensure we are filling out financial transaction sheets at any point we handle money on behalf of a service user, or are given money from a service user, e.g., fuel costs, shopping, lunch costs etc.
If you have any further questions on this please let me know and I would be happy to help.
I have also linked how to complete a Float Sheet. It is very important to complete these correctly as when running an audit on this missing money is a big concern.
